Welcome to Vol 17 Issue 1 which means Airsoft International is now in its 17th year of production!  Thank you to everyone who has contributed to its growth over the last 17 years and here’s to another 17!

Here in the UK, we are now starting to see shops and sites open again.  It’s been a tough year for everyone but a lot of sites and retailers that don’t have shops have suffered more than most because they have not been able to get grants from the government to help them along.  So go to your local store and have a browse, there is nothing like getting your hands on that rifle you’ve been eyeing up online for the past year, go to your local site and get an afternoon’s airsoft in.  They will really appreciate the business and you will brush off the cobwebs and get out meeting people again!  Most sites have to pre-book now so take a look at their websites and Facebook pages.

So what’s in this month’s issue of AI, well M81 is back on the pages with Weapon 762 fantastic range of gear and perfect as the woodlands are coming back after a long winter.  Their range is well worth a look and at great prices too.

Hardware this issue sees Nick reviewing Umarex’s VP9, seems he was very impressed and doesn’t look like we are getting that back anytime soon! Jason reviewed the Delta Spec Ops Rifle, perfect for CQB with its light yet durable build and at a great price point that won’t break the bank. We also look at ICS’s 381 CXP-Hog – Tubular SD S1, this one was a grower, we weren’t sure when we picked it up but once you get your hands on it, inside and out it’s a great all-round package and worthy of a place in your armoury.

We also look at a selection of drop leg rigs, look at the merchandise from CBS’s Seal Team show, review the Pentagon Monlite Jacket, Massifs new Inversion range and check in with our resident Sniper.  On sale now from our website www.ai-mag.com, airsoft retailers and newsagents and digitally through www.pocketmags.com
