SAG Gear in the UK

Airsoft World Ltd are delighted to introduce ‘SAG  -Combat Philosophy’ tactical equipment to the UK.  SAG are a Polish company who have taken a long , hard look at what is really required of slings, magazine pouches etc and then set about re-designing, and redefining tactical accessories.

The stunning simplicity and utility of the KDL double magazine pouch with a lid that doesn’t get in the way of your magazines…  The simple but incredibly effective KDS pouch, capable of securely carrying everything from a M16 magazine to an AK74 mag!  No longer do you need different pouches for different magazines and load outs!

Their MOLLE straps are flexible and easy to attach or remove, making repositioning the pouches on your vest exceptionally easy.

In addition to their fantastic pouches, SAG produce a three-point sling which is both simple and stunningly effective.  It prefers guns with two fixed sling points but a little imagination will allow it to be attached to pretty much anything!

We wait with keen anticipation to see what will emerge from SAG in the near future but we are confident that whatever it is it will be supremely fit for purpose.

The current range of SAG Gear tactical equipment can be found at www.airsoftworld.net

New UK forum online

Airsoft forums tend to come and go since they are a bit of a beast of burden, managing, maintaining and keeping them online can become a tough job, especially since users expect them to be free to use.

NitroJoe from the newly formed “Airsoft Exchange” forum dropped us a line recently to let us know about a newly formed online airsoft hub, in his own words,

“We’ve got all the features you’d expect in a Forum and few new ones like Autotrader style Classifieds, social network integration and direct links to Airsoft publications and blogs… We’re also running a competition to win an AEG, TLSFX pyros and Blaster bbs too which readers of your Blog might be interested in?”

We figured there’s a fair chance you guys would indeed be interested in that, so why not go and check it out?

Travis Hayley Talks Airsoft

One part of the famous Magpul Dynamics Training duo, Travis Hayley, talks airsoft and it’s benefits in terms of training for live fire. Surprisingly, given many US-based shooters totally dismiss the concept, Travis speaks sensibly about buying a quality gun and the additional realism you will gain. He also pushes the concept of cost saving over live fire, which is hugely significant. You think BBs are expensive? Watch the video and find out just how pricey 5.56mm can get.

Of course, Travis acknowledges the limitations of airsoft (but doesn’t mention the effect of firing from any other position but upright, which he DOES demonstrate at one point), but also praises Tokyo Marui for their recoil line of weapons, picking out features like the recoil itself and the bolt lock. I wonder what he would make of the shell ejecting TOP M4?

Ai wants YOU!

You’ve seen our “Local Loadout” pages before, it’s your chance to have a whole spread devoted to you, your kit and your airsoft, and to take part, we only need a couple of things… A full length picture of you, both front and back, and a few words about the kit you use.

The pictures

We’re not expecting masterpieces when it comes to images, unless of course you are a consummate camera man, all we need is a clear, full length shot (with your feet and head in frame) of you, from the front and the back, just like the example below. Don’t worry about any fancy photoshopping, our trained monkey does that!

The image size needs to be as large as possible, so use a dedicated camera as opposed to the one on your mobile phone. DSLR or Compact camera, it doesn’t really matter.

The words

We don’t need a huge essay from you when it comes to words, it’s just a matter of filling in the blanks really, either copy and paste the text from the bottom of the page, or download the document here.

Sending it in

When you have gathered your text and images, the next bit is simple, just attach it to an email and wing it over to us at bwebb@ai-mag.com! Easy!
